.22 Rimfire Rifle Event
Each participant will shoot a total of 30 shots. Ten shots will be fired from each of the three ranges.The long range will be (61-75 yards), a medium range (31-60 yards) and a short range (15-30 yards). The event incorporates firing at NRA life-size small game targets.
Shotgun Challenge
Each participant will shoot a minimum of 25 rounds from a standard trap house, skeet house, Hunters Clay Course, 5 stand clay course or any of the 4 clay courses. The Hunters Clays course layout will vary depending on the available topography. The shooting stations will make use of available cover to best depict running animals, bird flight and shooting obstacles.
Archery Challenge
Participants will walk through a field archery course in a natural setting. The course is designed to simulate shooting situations while bow hunting.Participants will take shots at targets varying from 10 to 40 yards. Targets will be life size targets with scoring areas directly over vital areas of the game species. There will be a minimum of 25 targets.
Muzzleloader Challenge
The Muzzleloading event incorporates firing at NRA Life Sized Game Targets. Participants will shoot 5 shots from one position between 20 and 50 yards. Each shot if touching the line or inside the vital area will be scored a hit.
